Prerequisites for FSM Data Ingestion Utility

Your device must meet the following prerequisites to use the FSM Data Ingestion Utility .

Windows EnvironmentAt this time, the FSM Data Ingestion Utility only supports a Windows environment with the following minimum system configurations: Windows 10 and above Windows 2016 server and above 8GB RAM 500 GB Hard disk Intel Core i5 8th Generation and above .net framework 4.8. InternetWhen accessing the Internet, ensure the security settings enable trusted access to Flexera One SaaS Management as described during the FSM Data Ingestion Utility Setup.
SaaS Import Job API AccessThe FSM Data Ingestion Utility uses the SaaS Import Job API to display your organization’s SaaS data in SaaS Management. Before starting, ensure you have access to https://developer\.flexera\.com/docs/page/saas\-import\-jobs\#import\-jobs\-api​
FSM Data Ingestion Utility MSI FileDownload the MSI file to launch the FSM Data Ingestion Utility . For details, see the attachment in the Flexera SaaS Management Data Ingestion Utility Knowledge Base article. After downloading the MSI file, run the installation. For details, see Installing FSM Data Ingestion Utility.
Refresh TokenThe FSM Data Ingestion Utility supports a secure token-based authentication method. Before using this application, you must generate a refresh token based on your organization’s geographic region. For details, see Generating a Refresh Token. The FSM Data Ingestion Utility uses the refresh token to authenticate API calls with Flexera’s SaaS Import Job API. The refresh token is encrypted and stored in a database. Organization ID and Organization NameThe Flexera One SaaS Management order confirmation includes your Organization ID and Organization Name . Details on locating your Organization ID can also be found in Organization ID Unique Identifier. The Organization Name is located in the upper-right corner of every Flexera One UI page. The Organization ID and Organization Name are required for Managing Organizations in FSM Data Ingestion Utility.
